Mowglis, a non-profit camp with a rich history and a focus on developing personal skills and values in the wild, faced the challenge of staying relevant in a digital-dominated world. As a marketing agency, we at Alavista set out to not only modernize their online presence, but also create a bridge that would connect their legacy with the expectations of new generations and their families.

The main challenge

The main challenge was to modernise Mowglis’ digital presence whilst respecting and enhancing its centuries-old essence. This included:

  • Solving a fragmented web ecosystem and inefficient, making navigation and updating difficult.
  • Redefining the existing branding structure including global elements such as “Industry ribbons”.
  • Create content that resonates with parents and youth while preserving the camp's traditional values.
  • Significantly increase exposure on social media, achieving an increase in interactions and reach.

The result

We transformed Mowglis' presence in the digital environment, achieving:

  • 45% increase in registrations thanks to SEO strategies and segmented campaigns.
  • A visual and narrative communication that celebrates 120 years Mowgli's legacy while capturing the interest of new generations.
  • Development of a standardized web design system allowing future updates without compromising web identity.
  • Social media exposure increased by 10,000%, establishing an active and committed community.
  • Integration of automation and analytics tools to optimize internal management and improve customer experience.

Mechanisms used

To achieve these results, we implement key strategies and services:

  1. Web System Redesign: We created a modular and standardized structure that allows for easy updates without compromising visual and brand consistency.
  2. SEO Strategies: We optimized their website for keywords related to summer camps, personal development, and wilderness experiences. This positioned Mowglis at the top of search results for key audiences.
  3. Digital Campaigns: We design and execute campaigns on Google Ads and social networks focused on specific microsegments, such as families interested in alternative educational programs.
  4. Content Creation: We crafted a visual and textual narrative that reflected Mowglis’ unique experience. Videos, testimonials and image galleries were the pillars of this strategy.
  5. Social Media Management: We design content calendars and engagement strategies for Facebook and Instagram, generating an active and committed community.
  6. Automation and Digital Tools: We implement CRM and automation systems to improve registration management and customer communication.

We helped Sea of Cortez Doctor in Cabo move from position 35 to the top 3 positions on Google, standing out as a reliable and accessible reference in medical services for residents and tourists in Los Cabos.
We updated and fully developed the brand 'Don Sanchez', a restaurant recognized in Los Cabos for fusing Mexican tradition with modern techniques. In addition, we created a virtual tour that highlights its unique spaces, allowing customers to explore them from digital platforms such as Google Maps and its website.

In this project we worked on the comprehensive development of the brand “Manos les van a faltar”, from its initial conceptualization to the creation of its complete visual identity. We designed a logo that captures the essence of mezcal, integrating elements such as hands and the maguey to communicate tradition and authenticity.
